Marina Beach

Marina Beach is one of the lognest beach in the world. It is a sandy beach located in Chennai, India. We used to go there every month mainly on sundays... It used to be very crowded on sundays and holidays. Eventhough there are many other beaches in and around chennai like Besant Nagar Beach more people prefer to go to Marina because it is very spacious and many kind of enterntainment activities line up in the evening like food stalls, toys, shops etc.

Whoever visiting Chennai consider Marina Beach as a prime tourist spot in Chennai. Memorials of former Tamil Nadu Cheif Ministers M G Ramachandran and Annadurai are present on the beach. Many statues of Indian legends also can be found near the main road (Kamarajar Salai) like Mahatma Gandhi, Kannaki, Thiruvalluvar and the Statue of Labour.
